how to arrive here
The most comfortable way is to travel by plane to Faro or Lisbon, you can rent a car at the airport. Exploring the beautiful beaches around the area en route to the west coast of the Algarve. Public transport is possible but not efficient.
From Faro using the A22 should take approximatly one and half hours - crossing the Algarve, from Lisbon a bit more than 3 hours along the Alentejo. Any vehicle will do.

coming from Faro
From Faro Airport take the highway IC4 / A22 Direction Lisboa
pass Portimao and Lagos untill the end of the highway at Bensafrim
take road N120 heading to Aljezur,
crossing the bridge in Äljezur at the roundabout turn left aprpox 6 km direction to Lisboa (further on N120) untill Rogil,
in the middle of the village before the bakery (Padaria - Fabrica de Pao) turn right (sign "HOTEL" - see picture),
follow the road untill the end (3 km) and turn right
just after about 100 m turn left (sign Perdigao - Brejo Longo)
directly after about 50 m take the first dirt road to the right (sign „Quinta da Tosca“)
go to the end of this road (about 500 m ).

coming from Lisbon
From Lisbon you can take a very beautiful tour along the coast, instead of using the highway, which is even shorter and cheaper, but it will take more time.
Close to the airport you take the new bridge over the Tejo (Ponte Vasco da Gama). It will lead on the highway A12 direction south until the end in Setubal. There you enter the Ferry Boat to Troia (sign: Ferry Boat). With a little luck you may watch Dolphins from the ship.
From Troia you follow the signs in direction Sines through the dunes. Near Santo Andre there starts a highway passing Sines and leading to a big power plant (signs direction Algarve Sul). Directly in front of the power plant you turn right on the spectacluar coast road in direction Porto Covo and further on to Vila Nova de Milfontes.
There you find signs in direction Lagos. You pass Odemira go along Sao Teotonio and reach the Algarve at Odeceixe. After approx 3 km turn left in the small place Maria Vinagre (sign: Carrascalinho). Follow this road more about 4 km until you see a sign in direction Perdigao - Brejo Longo. Turn left there and take the first dirt road on the right after 50 m (sign: „Quinta da Tosca“). After 500m you are with us.
